Becoming Wild Again
Hello, I’m Kimberly — a Pacific Northwest girl through and through.
I grew up between Washington and Alaska, and I’ve called Oregon home for over 30 years. Forests have always held a special place in my heart. I like big trees—and I cannot lie! I’m also deeply drawn to the ocean, especially the rugged, soul-soothing beaches of Oregon.
Lately, I’ve felt an ever-growing pull to spend more time outdoors. Whether I’m in the forest or by the sea, nature is the salve my soul needs.
There’s something about the scent of the woods—it wraps around me like ocean waves when I can’t be near the water. Out in nature, I can finally breathe. There’s a peace that settles in when I’m away from the noise and pace of everyday life.
I believe we’ve strayed too far from our connection with the natural world. Forests, trees, waves, wind—they all speak, if we slow down enough to listen. My hope is to rekindle that connection, to sit in the quiet, and remember what it means to truly live.
